Neither of those situations are okay, why do you hate brown people so much? They were not committing crimes, not hurting people, contributing to the economy, had a kid in school with friends. Their only “crime” was existing. And I bet they were well into the process of getting their green cards, now their lives are completely upended. Honestly fuck you.
I’m brown you dumb 💩 😂 Their crime was the mothers doing , who came here illegally and that is a crime unfortunately no matter what way you want to believe it. You don’t make the rules. You have no authority. It’s against the law. Her intentions were good but She put her daughter at risk for this by not entering the country the right way. No one said she was a danger to society. They can still enter again the right way.
Why do you need a law professor to tell you basic common sense laws? 🤣 Do you need a law professor to tell you that breaking into someone’s house is against the law? Do you need them to tell you that robbing a bank is against the law? Like I KNOW I can’t go to another country and just decide I want to stay there permanently without telling anyone or establishing myself . I’m sorry if that offends you if you do need that reiterated by a professional. But to most people that’s common knowledge.
That’s just not true. In 2024 house democrats and republicans supported a bipartisan border bill that would have tightened asylum rules and added thousands of border agents to clear the backlog. The bill didn’t fail because of democrats it failed because Trump publicly pressured GOP lawmakers to kill it so he could keep the border as a campaign issue
So after all the whining from Trump calling illegal immigration a “crisis” under Biden, he chose keep crying instead of passing laws that would have actually addressed it. And bye we still don’t have durable legislation, we have temporary executive orders held together with stick and scotch tape because Trump refuses to work with Democrats on laws that would last beyond one administration. There’s your “great negotiator”
Why did they wait until the end of the term to push that bill through… oh wait, because they quickly realized people were sick and tired of the illegal immigration and were going to lose the election. What did Biden and Harris literally do the year prior: end Title 42. I don’t even know why you’re choosing to die on this hill.
