Straight up, that is not correct. The increase around the world is an increase in open hostility for the state of Israel and its war crimes. There is not a return of pre-20th century classical anti-Jewish discrimination . My Nazi neighbors have a flag of Israel up. And it’s the same thing in the third world. Americans are “discriminated against“ because we are the beneficiaries of empire, and our government is oppressing everyone else in the world. There are social consequences for abuse.

Random synagogues have been vandalized or attacked in multiple countries. Plus recent violent attacks like the Australian mass shooting. Attacking a random synagogue or Jewish people because of the actions of Israel is extremely clear antisemitism.

Which Is a problem and it’s sad that is happening because though I despise Israel and support the political entity that is Israel destroyed I have no hatred towards Jews and condemn these attacks because our enemy is Zionism not Judaism

I think to varying degrees Israel wants this antisemitism because it forces Jewish people to flee their own countries. They’ve done stuff like this before, how they helped organized the complete expulsion of Iraqi Jews. I don’t think they’re organizing the vandalism or attacks my any means, but I think they likely see it as a way to force Jewish people to come to Israel. Like after Mamdani was elected there were Israeli politicians trying to get everyone to flee from New York and come to Israel.

If Israel wanted to separate themselves from Judaism they could, but instead they do whatever they can to try to synonymize the actions of the Israeli state with Judaism itself. They do nothing to combat the idea that “Israel = Judaism” which drives these antisemitic attacks.
