you pay for or come from a family that pays extra for a membership to buy more expensive shit. is it a better price per unit? sure. most people just straight can’t afford to bulk buy. even if “it’s a better deal” no one does their regular shopping at the dollar tree bc of how good the deals are. the most they can afford is the smaller quantities at smaller prices. there are implications in being a bulk store buyer, no matter how financially savvy you are
