dude ai bubble or not, that is exactly what these data centers are for right now. there’s a reason why China, with a far larger population than the US, has only a few hundred datacenters powering their surveillance, and that we, the US, are making *thousands* expanding the existing surveillance state (yes, we are a surveillance state) is a given no matter what, but they’re going to power automated weaponry as well. Palantir, a surveillance company heavily working with the US government 1/2

2/2 (also heavily associated with Naziism and descendants of people who worked in the Third Reich (Hitler, the holocaust)) is already researching and developing drones designed to kill people via essentially crashing into their head with an internally loaded explosive payload (…..) This is the same company spearheading the “predictive policing” movement, where they use automated systems to monitor every citizen and predict whether they’re guilty of a past, present, or *future* crime

tldr, it’s so much worse than a mere surveillance state. They’re going to automate killing dissidents and really whoever they deem a threat.
