In its simplest terms I think it’s selfish. Growing up on LI we used to drive out to the Hamptons/Montauk to look at the huge houses and 95% of the year they all sit empty because the owners have 6 other houses that they spend their time in, only coming here on a nice day yet there’s millions of people without homes. I would never be comfortable having multiple homes, multiple cars when I know people out there can’t afford to eat.
