I’m Christian. Halloween by itself isn’t demonic. In fact it wasn’t even this controversial until it became a trend for women to dress down as much as legally possible under the guise of being a costume and for men to sleep with as many women as possible
I can’t with the Christians that call Halloween decorations, costumes and candy demonic but not care about actual evil shit like capitalism and billionaires

Never understood why Christians act like drinking is crazy and demonic. If the stories are to be believed, Jesus Christ once came upon a party where the people had run out of booze. In his kindness, he created more booze for them. Seems to me like Jesus is pro-drinking lmao

It’s the blacking out and getting drunk that he doesn’t like

How could this possibly be from capitalism

A time of year focused on cheap, mass produced decorations, selling massive quantities of cheap mass produced candy, and dressing up in cheap mass produced costumes you wear once a year and completely replace the next year. The same thing happened with Christmas. It used to be 12 days. But as it got more and more monetized, companies needed more and more people to work. So in the Victorian era, it slowly got reduced to just being a single day, all so corporations could sell more

That’s not related to what I said though

It is though. “Scandalous” behavior was subsequent to the monetization of the holiday

He told you this? Because they give me wine, in church, for communion. Seems like they’re pro-alcohol

Also, I feel like if you pull up on a wedding feast where they have run out of wine, and you give them an unlimited cask of wine, you are certainly facilitating a number of blackouts. I’ve been a wedding guest enough times to say that with certainty.

I never said alcohol itself was bad. Jesus blessed wine. It’s getting drunk and blacking out
