If it’s a proposed law, I wouldn’t worry too much. It still has to go through the legislative process

I mean rando legislators propose wacky bills all the time, a few weeks ago ppl were mad at my state (VA) for proposing crazy taxes, but they didn’t go anywhere. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t raise objections to it though

It’s a campaign tactic believe it or not. The idea is to propose a provocative bill knowing it’ll go nowhere but hoping it puts your name in headlines
