Oh I don’t disagree, unfortunately most news outlets do that to try to get people to click the link to the article with a flashy headline. Helps drive their readership metrics, or sometimes they put it behind a paywall hoping you will get a subscription to read the article that was probably written by AI anyway but will usually be mostly true. Misleading headlines are used for sales

While there def are left news sites doing this too, it isn’t proportional in the slightest imo, at least when considering the larger networks. Most of the left articles just say something like “republican leader ____ had Nazi chats leaked” which isn’t really misleading when that’s what’s been happening
