the Democratic solution to Republican gerrymandering was to gerrymander two California and Virginia, ignoring that Republicans have a stranglehold on the southeast and will simply outplay them at their own game. naturally Democrats made no mention of electoral reform or shifting from plurality to a proportional system, because they would lose seats to third parties in several states alongside Republicans

It’s usual do-nothing Democrat shenanigans. They had the chance under Clinton, Obama, and Biden to prevent what’s happening now but chose not to because the billionaire benefactors don’t benefit from a functional voting system
