because we need to be taxing the rich and lowering taxes on the poor. not just one or the other. your post talks about how increasing the taxes on the rich doesn’t do anything but i think even a 2 percent tax is better than what we have now

I think they should be taxed astronomically more. In fact I think A LOT should change. I’m a leftist. I’m just saying don’t be satisfied or duped by liberal politicians touting a 2% tax as if it is world changing.

nobody wants to appease the rich as the end goal, the point is that the big reason billionaire apologist trump is in office right now is because elon and other billionaires put all of their resources into getting him elected because they felt it would benefit them. maybe that is what dems need to do, appease the billionaires long enough to get resources then pivot
