Probably genetically predisposed to some sort of Narcissistic personality, and then he lived in an environment surrounded by yes men for 80 fucking years.

He was always a terrible person, he’s just become more unhinged with old age and less good at hiding it, there is clear evidence he has dementia

I agree, he seems incapable of realizing or admitting mistakes. The fact he’s gotten away with so much probably has him thinking he’s invincible
