No wonder one of the few times Dems stood & clapped last night was when Trump talked about potentially starting a war with Iran.

probably because the mass majority of the population are in favor of military intervention in iran and it would be one of the few good things trump has done

What population because at least in America it’s extremely unpopular. Also what makes you think it would be good when you consider our history of doing it & it not being good. What makes this time unique in your opinion?

Well first and foremost, their nuclear development programs absolutely cannot create a nuclear weapon. They are trying. That is a regime that sad done nothing but terrorize and destroy. They cannot have a nuclear weapons, they will use it. Also they recently conducted a genocide to suppress a bunch of protests, they're holding onto power with violence. They gunned down something of a 20,000-40,000 civilians in the streets a bit ago and arrested and executed thousands more for protesting.

For what reason do you think it's an unpopular opinion in America? As far as I'm aware polls show it's somewhere of a 60%-80% Americans support military intervention. If you have a source I'm genuinely curious. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

All good I make typos all the time unfortunately 😭. The lates YouGov poll from the 24 shows that most Americans are against military intervention but believe it will happen so you might of got your stuff mixed up. Intervention in Iran only has a 27% approval rating.

As for the nuclear thing we’ve been told for the last 40 years that Iran is weeks to a month away from having nukes & they must be stopped or else they will use them. Yet here we are 40 years later with Iran still weeks to a month away from having a nuke that it supposedly will for sure use. Idk about you but the fact that we’ve been fed this same line for 40 years straight proves it’s nothing more then a lie to try & manufacturer consent to bomb Iran & do a coup

As for the 20k - 40k arrested & executed that’s just another lie with the effort to manufacture consent while also down playing genocide in Gaza. Which is a goal of Israel who is pushing the hardest for us to go to war with Iran. So you want me to believe that in 2 days Iran arrested, and executed 20k -40k people but conservative estimates say it took Israel three years to kill 70k people and they were indiscriminately bombing the whole time. That makes 0 logical sense

Iran claims the actual number is around 3k which is obviously a lie. But on the ground humanitarian organizations say the true number is about 7.5k obviously 7.5k is still insane amount & in my opinion unjustifiable but it’s definitely not 20k - 40k which is a lie told to manufacture consent while also downplaying Israel’s actions

Lastly I strongly oppose the IRGC & the Ayatollah and do believe that regime change is necessary. I just don’t believe it should come from America or Israel. America has a history of doing coups in other countries & they alway end up making a horrible situation for the natives somehow even worst. Look at Iraq Afghanistan, Libya etc at first the people thank us but then they end up hating us because we either create a power vacuum for someone worst or just install another bad person who doesn’t

Care about the citizens but is pro America & Israel. We aren’t doing it with the native population best interest a heart we’re doing it for Israel’s interest so the natives won’t get the help they deserve. Again we’ve done it multiple times so I really don’t see this time being any different. Hell we did it & Iran & it literally led to the Ayatollah coming to power so are last coup in Iran helped create this current situation although last time we did it they had a chill democratically elected

The nukes thing is no different than the weapons of mass destruction lie we were told to justify invading Iraq. A lie that cost us billions of dollars & millions of innocent lives. History seems to repeating itself & some people are unfortunately eating it up like last time.
