I still don’t get why we’re paying ICE to take over TSA when we could just use the money paying ICE to PAY TSA.

It’s more if a appropriations law kind of thing than anything else

They can’t legally pay TSA agents without congressional approval, nor can they divert funds from one appropriation to another. Has that stopped Trump before? No. But this shutdown is somehow helping him, at least he thinks.

I see where the issue is with legally paying ice not TSA but it feels SO backwards with an underlying agenda.
