Id personally argue a system that can take a peasant/serf society and have them launching satellites into orbit in 50 years is a system that can work.

Like not perfectly, no system does that. I just don’t see how it can be argued that this is emblematic of an abject failure.

Nobody’s saying that capitalism in inferior to socialism (well some on the far right do say that but nobody worth asking) Just that it’s inherently unsustainable and that we can diagnose its flaws to find a suitable replacement
