Some rich people exploit people but they also invest in all kinds of things that stimulate our economy and provide jobs to people, wealth is also a reward for innovation

The government shouldn’t be our parents. If you’re dependent on a govt to feed you, it can also starve you. Maybe some people prefer less govt regulation and less taxes so they can do what they please with their money. You don’t trust the govt already yet you think it’s a great idea to have everyone give the govt more of our money so they can organize all of our social services. They already do a poor job with many things they do run currently, so why give them even more entities to control?

That’s fine, I don’t see why you can’t obtain wealth while the government provides for its people

When the federal government puts money into the hands of local officials, that means money goes back to your community directly. Local governments are not nearly as powerful as federal government is.
