I’m generally pro trans rights, but in most cases, it’s just not fair for a biological man to compete in a women’s competition. There are just some things hormones don’t change

Also my point was hormone testing is shit anyway. If you’re a biological female, you compete in women’s sports, men’s sports for males. Like I said, hormones don’t change everything.

How many people does this actually affect?

There is no such thing as “generally” for human rights. You are or you aren’t. And this dosent only affect trans women. You remember the woman boxer who got tested for high levels of testosterone? She was born as female and identifies as female, just has high levels of testosterone due to Hyperandrogenism. There is a long history of flawed genetic testing in the Olympics. Also, you’re above statement imply that men are always stronger then women, when we know that is not the case.

They litterally switched the test because of this and she has refused to take it

Bro come on. Put literally and male track and field athlete Olympian against a female one. It would be bad. This also goes for tennis, basketball, weightlifting, etc

They are women, and that’s fine. But they are biological males and that can’t be changed

I don’t know if you’re referring to me or the pancakes guy, but if it’s me, just know I’m literally in my campus democrats organization

Pretty sure it was in response to #4, who used a slur and was really transphobic. They deleted their message.

1: it depends on the age. Puberty changes things drastically. 2: I never said it was an automatic win for anyone, it’s just an unfair advantage

Okay, that is a point. My main issue with this argument is that literally everything can be considered some form of “unfair advantage” if you get too deep into brass tax about it.

Like, should Michael Phelps have been banned for having a genetic mutation that made him for hydrodynamic? That’s an unfair advantage to people who are born without that mutation.

I think there’s certainly an argument for it
