I actually think what happened to Pretti was terrible and wrong. However, no agency is perfect and ICE in my opinion does a lot more good than bad to a degree.

That article provides no prof that anything bad has happened to the immigrants. Once deported, the US has no obligation to continue tracking these people. I think the families would have better success communicating with South American embassies for their respective countries of origin.

Well your claim comes with assumptions that can’t be ignored. I actually agree with you that the officer that shot Pretti should be jailed and it was completely unwarranted. But I also think that in Renee Goods case, it was justified self defense. And there have been ICE agents murdered too. (Again, I can provide sources if you’d like.)
