In simple terms, yes. At the core of fascism: all politics must start and be defined by identifying the enemy group. And that man has threatened journalists alone more than the sum total of every US politician since 1776. To tell me otherwise is sanewashing the dictator.

Trump is the most openly authoritarian president we’ve ever had. Directs his FCC, ICE and DOJ to go after his political opponents. He tried to over turn the 2020 election with fake electors and threatening his vice president. Will openly talk about how he wants to be more like North Korea and China.

What’s wrong with China lol, very little crime, free healthcare, no billionaire pedophiles, no drug problems, very little homelessness, and a government ran by the working class, also Monroe and older presedents are far more authoritarian

lol all those things would be super epic without a one party state, I also think a lot of those things are over exaggerated by the Chinese state.

They are not really, the streets of every town and city speak for themselves, sure China is authoritarian and censors speech, but you can hear this from nearly everybody who is from there or has went

Yeah I rather be able to say things freely rather than have “clean streets”. To my understanding the wealth gap doesn’t exist in China in urban areas it exist between urban and rural areas. From my limited understanding you’ll have things like slums outside of cities bc you can’t immigrate from a rural area to a city like you can in the U.S.

China doesent have that much slum areas anymore, also rural China is still safe and for the most part developed (with the exceptions of some areas of Inner Mongolia and xinjiang) also rural China is mainly ran by the farmers themselves

To get a decent comparison of similar equivilent cites, compare Detroit to Nanning

Yeah I’m assuming rural areas are pretty safe like how rural areas here are safe. I’m saying the problems with crime comes primarily from rural people into urban areas bc again the disproportionate wealth.

Well yeah but its less than the wealth divide between rural and urban here, look at some bum fuck town an hour or two away from Memphis and compare it to Memphis
