Nah the right hella memes on themselves. A lot of the Vance memes came from the right. They’re just in their own online pockets so you don’t see them as much

My take on the Vance memes is that they have to pretend they like it, because they know mockery is the most effective way to combat authoritarianism. They don’t care about facts and logic, so arguments don’t work. But making them look foolish undermines their whole image of authority, and they recognize that, so they’re pretending to be in on it.
