Wouldn’t making a law about it require defining what a woman is though which is kind of the whole problem in the first place? Like how do you write a law that prevents them from identifying as trans without affecting real trans people? It’s on the WNBA to adjust the rules imo, and it’s probably better it stays that way rather than the government getting involved in it

Just criminalize hateful actions that target minorities and then you can charge the two of them 🤷

Well who gets to decide what’s hateful? Or hateful enough to be worthy of charges? I wouldn’t ascribe to this view, but they might argue that they’re doing this to “stand up for fairness in women’s sports” or whatever. It seems to be a matter of opinion, rather than enforceable principle, that would determine if they’re being “hateful.”

Well but that’s your opinion and perception of it. Other people might feel differently. Considering the reality that lots of those people support the current administration, why open the door for the government to enforce its moral code on everyone?
