This just isn’t true. There are objective facts in the universe. For instance no matter how you look at it, the world will always be a sphere. All measurements and data point to a spherical globe regardless of how you perceive it.

Knowledge can be put into two broad categories, things we understand through our senses and things that just are by definition. For instance, whether or not a natural equilateral triangle exists anywhere in nature, it is defined by having three sides of equal length with internal angles summing to 180 degrees. Most other things are just what we observe and associate with other things

We do have access to the objective world tho. Evolution no matter how debated is an objective fact. Gravity, germs, ect. All objective

I’m lost ngl. There are things you can know to be true even based on perception. You know a stove is hot because it burned your hand and you felt that. You know a stove is hot also because the thermometer. Facts don’t adhere to your perception of it. The world was perceived as flat for a while but has always been a sphere even when the general consensus was a flat earth.

You can’t technically know the first category of knowledge with certainty. It’s based on association. You touched hot stove and it burned. You assume it was because the stove is hot and not because your hand randomly got hot while feeling the stove. Just read Hume

But you can’t say with certainty, even if you can live forever and observe things in fast forward, that evolution is an objective process.

Exactly, the problem is not that it isn’t observable, the problem is that your observations are subjective by definition. You only access the world through perception, we can never see “base reality”

But you know your hand can’t randomly get hot. We know energy can neither be created or destroyed so you would have to know your hand got hot because heat (which is a type of energy) from the stove caused it. The other would go against the objective world. It would be an objective fact that the stove is hot because heat from the stove traveled to your hand and burned it.

But I feel like that doesn’t matter. No matter how subjective my observations are, what is true will never shift because of my subjectivity. No matter the visions, someone in PTSD is not in war.
