People do make racist jokes towards white people and there are some people who are actually racist towards white people, yes. Laughing at OP’s statement or belittling them for it only causes more divide, I think it’s better to contextualize. “Yes that joke would be very poorly received if the races were switched and here’s why”. The right recruits many people who are turned away from the left over silly things like this. They see reality and want it to be acknowledged, I think we can do that
