Yeah and the way we work is also super weird. Throughout most of history, labor worked this way. You complete a task, you get paid. Now, instead of selling the labor itself, we sell our time. And like a lot of our time. It’s super weird.

Peasants had to make most of what they owned, that’s work even though it’s not their main occupation.
