Imo if you guys actually managed to assassinate Trump, I think the lack of planning for what comes next would solidify him as a martyr and a great president in the same way JFK's assassination did, regardless of if Trump even is deserving in the same way of this.

vance doesn’t have the cult following that trump does and that’s just a fact. historically cults tend to fracture when the leader dies

Yeah definitely, they'll complain about Palantir till the day ends but don't acknowledge that Trump's assassination would lead to Palantir's golden boy in the oval office.

I genuinely do not understand how anyone ever thought Kamala represented the working class when she couldn't even do that (the bare fucking minimum)

but he also campaigned on nothing that would actually improve anything for the working class?? he campaigned on tax cuts for the rich and cutting funding for government assistance

He pledged to cut energy prices in half, bring down grocery prices, and cut back on regulations that'd make housing more expensive. All things that the working class deeply cared about, and things that Kamala wasn't focused on as heavily.

Did he accomplish any of this? No, but it makes perfect sense to me why someone would vote for the guy promising all of this over the woman who isn't.

he never stated how he was going to accomplish this stuff and based on his last term we all learned that his word means nothing

You shouldn't trust a politician during campaign season in general, but that doesn't mean people are going to stop doing it.

If I distrust a trustworthy person, the worst that happens is unwarranted skepticism. If I trust an untrustworthy person, the worst that happens can be unfathomably devastating, including the actual end of the world.

I think it's very beneficial to be largely distrusting of these people considering what we have to lose, and what little we gain by abstaining.
