Generally yes. That would be Labour in the UK, Labor in Australia, and Democrats in the US. Whereas far left would be DSA/Green Parties.

In France it’s a tad different, socialists would be the center left and France Insoumise would be far left. They would gain more popularity while République En Marche and Républicains décline and the Rassemblement Nationale also gains more power.

This left/right scale needs to seriously be deleted. Nobody agrees what it actually means. Your idea of far left is still in the lib territory

Imo it needs to be expanded to make up for more differences in views than just left and right rather than be deleted. The political compass attempts this but also fails due to oversimplifying, similar to the spectrum. I think it'd probably have to consist of 5 axes
