The man started a trade war with India bc its prime minister refused to nominate him for a Nobel peace prize. Dont get me wrong, India’s prime minister is a fascist dipshit worse than Trump for that country, but the sheer amount of childishly fragile ego it takes to end decades of us strategic policy over something as dumb as a prize is astounding to me. I do think the partnering with India in the first place was a mistake tbf, but changing policy over something like that is crazy

I mean, I would still say he’s closer to Hitler, as he abides by the same fascist playbook, though Trump himself might not play as central a role. Leaders that are so distant in history aren’t really comparable.
