I’m sorry I can’t get over the absolute ghouls in the senate trying to frame twin metals as a good thing. This is supposedly the same Republican party that established the NPS and USFS. I have not, and now will never, vote for a republican.

In some instances there is need to cull a predatory population to protect a depleted prey species. (I’m a fishery scientist in Oregon) but frankly I don’t know the status regarding these sea lions.

Apparently the fishing industry might be funding some studies here, and some experts aren’t sure the salmon population will rebound if we just let the birds eat the salmon and we keep eating them ourselves too
