No I think you misunderstood what I was saying. The unemployment for sure was affected by Covid but also def majorly affected by the Tech/AI boom. Like this is just the beginning of all this talk on how unemployment is getting higher. Just how it was when the internet exploded and took a lot of jobs. Then ppl simmered down and realized that they just need to find diff jobs

Bro no a lot of this is because Trump is pushing deglobalization so companies are gonna start moving out of the U.S. 💀 we don’t have the means to handle industry anymore plus when you have ICE threatening plants people will stop working, jobs won’t get filled because there aren’t enough trained people, and more plants will shut down. Blue collar workers are suffering HARD right now too because of these stupid fucking trade policies
