10/7 was essentially the same thing as when indigenous tribes would raid white settlements in surprise attacks. Brutal, but out of desperation

It’s like how Mormons talk about the Mountain Meadows Massacre, but forget to mention how the Mormons were violent and aggressive and how it was orchestrated by other white people who were frustrated by the marrying of children(they would marry the little girls from other settler towns). Like, yeah we can agree that’s tragic, but what about the massacres they commited? No one has the opinions about Germans, no one says, “oh god the British killed so many German children”

i mean shit, nobody talks about how Britain absolutely decimated Ireland in both its human population by starvation and blight or by complete destruction of their delicate ecosystem for harvesting tonnes of peat from their bogs… we will NEVER see the Emerald Isle as the temperate rainforest that it should have been, and they lost many generations of Irish peoples…

Yup! And how there’s no artwork to prove these were advanced civilizations equal to the Britons. Same thing happened in the Americas. We have no real context to these cultures and civilizations anymore, we have to rely on cultural memory, that’s tragic! Palestians are at risk of the same thing. ISRAEL BOMBED THE OLDEST CHURCH IN GAZA, how much cultural artifacts have been lost!

I remember when the IDF attacked it on the first day of Ramadan back in 2016, throwing fuckin tear gas into al-Aqsa Mosque compound while people were sheltering from their attacks and consistently damaging the building itself.

Tear-gassing the Al aqsa compound is sacrilegious but using it as place to barricade yourself in and throw rocks/shoot fireworks from is an acceptable cultural use of the building?

one is a war crime barred by the geneva convention committed against civilians… the other is literal debris directed toward a militant aggressor that is decked out in helmets, kevlar vests, shields, etc. if i pour water on your back while you’re wearing a poncho bc you initiated water combat by being aggressive, it does NOT warrant your attempts to drown me and my entire families bloodline in response. 😐

you have just demonstrated that you are completely incapable of nuance… i feel extremely sorry for your professors. also again, what the IDF did in every attack on al-Aqsa since 2014 isn’t just sacrilegious, it is A WAR CRIME! Especially the use of white phosphorus! like damn your age is showing, kiddo.

White phosphorus has never been used in Al-Aqsa, I’m not sure where you’re getting that from. Simply using tear gas in Al Aqsa is also not a war crime.

“Geneva Gas Protocol prohibits the use of all asphyxiating and poisonous gases and analogous materials, including riot-control agents” such as tear gas… so yes it is a war crime prohibited by the Geneva Convention. The IDF has been using White Phosphorus on the Gaza strip since 2023 consistently. Surely you’re aware that it continues burning even through human flesh, correct? And that it can burn for days leaving refugees trapped by the flames and noxious chemicals, right?

I didn’t specify that the white phosphorus was used on the mosque itself. I specified that the IDF has been committing war crimes for over 12 years against Palestine.

Amnesty International - apparently the IDF called it “Operation al-Aqsa Flood” but didnt specifically target the mosque likely for the all legal reasons… which is interesting. https://amnesty.ca/human-rights-news/israel-opt-identifying-the-israeli-armys-use-of-white-phosphorus-in-gaza/ Human Rights Watch: reports use of white phosphorus in Lebanon https://www.hrw.org/news/2024/06/05/lebanon-israels-white-phosphorous-use-risks-civilian-harm

al-Aqsa is in Gaza, which is Palestine 🇵🇸. The riot police are Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), meaning they’re from Israel 🇮🇱. This is, therefore, an international conflict where the Geneva convention applies.

Dude I’m sorry I can’t interact with you anymore. Al-Aqsa flood was Hamas’s October 7th attack on Israel. That crossed a line of ignorance I can no longer entertain. Plus it seems you have no idea about the terms of control agreed upon by the Jerusalem Waqf and Israel. Good day sir

Just because you can’t admit that Israel has been committing war crimes for your entire lifetime doesn’t mean that I’m ignorant. I am certainly not an expert, but it doesn’t take an expert to see alllllll the war crimes that Israel is committing and HAS committed for decades 😐

Bro even Israel doesn’t have an idea of the terms of control they agreed upon 😭 that’s why all of this started in the first place, they keep breaking their contract and encroaching on Gaza and allowing Israelis to abuse Palestinians.

it’s it proof the Israel doesn’t lead by their word? or do you want to keep believing they’re not doing anything wrong? Do you believe the US loves native Americans and takes care of them and respects them?

Glad it took you so long to say that and defending Israel to feel good. I will also keep bringing up their use of phosphorus on attacks and their use of tear gas as proof of them breaking the Geneva code, just will make sure I don’t bring in Muslims to make you feel good. Hope you have a great day n

They still abused, damaged, assaulted the Mosque. They used tear gas, which to let you know, is dangerous, toxic, harmful, no matter how they make it. They still did it, no one fabricated that story, you read their comments wrong. Hello? They use white phosphorus, they’ve been break codes of conduct no matter what.

You spoke about the abusing of cultural landmarks and Al Aqsa was used as an example. I asked if barricading inside and shooting fireworks didn’t meet the criteria. The rest has been noise and deflection to the use of other weapons in other places. It doesn’t matter if tear gas is bad for you if you’re discussing whether using it during a domestic riot is a “war crime.” The rest of what you’re saying is nothing related to anything I’ve said

Consider the following: what if… WHAT IF it was the IDF that was the aggressor and incited the people to seek shelter (“sanctuary!” -quasimodo) within a religious facility, then use whatever potential tools they had available to defend themselves from a militarized police force? what if that was happening in context of a documented history of using white phosphorus to harm/harass the civilians of Palestine only 6 years prior to when I first saw an attack on al-Aqsa in real time online in 2014?
