Government ran grocery stores are an overreach of government authority and a waste of money. Instead we should be subsidizing businesses like Walmart/ Dollar general to put stores in food deserts, that way you get actual quality food at economy of scale

Hey it's not your fault, it's the system that has allowed such a place to exist. Their business operates like Walmart, choking out local places and working with local governments. They're a bad company that targets communities with no other choices. The fact that you have to rely on them is one of the many issues our system made.

And you don’t need to go to god damn Whole Foods for a zucchini you dolt. I qualify for fucking food stamps and I can still get fresh, nutritional food if I go to Aldi. Which is something I can’t find in the Dollar General nearby. Go look up the Wikipedia article on food deserts. Or if you’re too lazy to do so, here’s a highlighted passage that I think explains my point about why food deserts are bad pretty well.
