You keep trying to talk about raw numbers and then apply it to two different demographics. Per capita exists to compare different sample sizes. Higher RATES means there’s something specific happening in one of them. Higher TOTALS just accounts for a higher population count. And the rates are STILL higher by income level. If you genuinely cared to understand why these disparities exist you can find it. Systemic issues does not only impact impoverished black people. You don’t care about why these disparities occur, you just want to demonize black culture. That’s why you arent quick to point to white culture as the cause for crime in any other sector where white people outperform any other race per capita like pedophilia.

And claiming that the “underfunding” of and underinvestment in communities is what causes this directly implies that giving more money will fix it. I disagree. The gap is not as wide as it is with assault, but it’s still an overrepresentation of minorities. Now if you wanted to argue financial crimes? Yeah, I’d say white culture contributes to that. Alright I’ll break down your own source for you. 57% were white. The white population is ~58% 16% were black. The black population is 13%. It’s not much, but still a higher rate for black. I’m only now learning from this just how bad it is with Native Americans tho jeez wow

We can apply this elsewhere too! 93.6% of offenders were men! And yes! I’d agree it’s a male culture problem that causes this. I think it’d be pretty cruel for me to suggest something else like “men are super overworked and tired on average that’s actually the real reason why they sexually assault children at higher rates.” There needs to be a culture change

Here’s a question. Do YOU know how statistics work or do you just blindly repeat racist dog whistles? According to the FBI’s own data, white people represent more of the people arrested for nearly every single crime. When you look at the distribution of arrests percentage wise instead of total numbers, it’s still higher in almost every single category. If the FBI’s own numbers say this, where are you getting your data from? I’ve provided data, all you’ve done is provide racist wojaks.
