We could seize every last dime from billionaires and it still wouldn’t allow us to afford “Medicare for all” so that’s not happening. Best you can hope for is Medicaid expansion for the needy, not everyone.

We spend more per capita on healthcare than any other country, the only reason we don’t have healthcare is because pharmaceutical and healthcare corporations profit from people’s suffering

Wow they have better health outcomes (lower maternal mortality, lower infant mortality, equivalent or higher life expectancy) than us even though they make less money! Sounds like we really should do what they are.

Yeah good luck convincing doctors to halve their salary so broke people can benefit. They don’t pursue this career for the charity. It’s why we have a lot of foreign doctors, they think the juice is worth the squeeze when it comes to this. Socialized healthcare is not it.

I’m talking salary. That’s a different metric. Yes our salaries are exorbitantly higher here and not just in healthcare.

Higher standard of living😂 our taxes are at an all time high yet we’re also losing funding to critical organizations, construction, healthcare, etc. Might seem shocking but the lifelong conman that’s running the country is CONNING YOU

lol this stuff is such bullshit it acts like we don’t have every other developed country which instituted a public health system and didn’t lose all their doctors. We don’t even need to reduce the salaries of doctors bro we are giving rid of the insurance middlemen and execs.
