There’s no such thing as a fair deal here. We, the American people, would be footing the bill for something that frankly is completely useless and which greenlanders dont want. We already have everything Trump says we need from them. He just wants to plant a flag there, to wave his dick around. I question his cognitive health.

Yes for two reasons 1. We don’t need to be spending a ton of money for completely useless bullshit. We already can mine and patrol Greenland. 2. The Greenlanders overwhelmingly do not want to be American. Any acquisition now is clearly coercive and based on threats, not what the Greenlandic people desire

Fair would require a democratic vote of the Greenlandic people If they want it, sure. Why not. I don’t care But considering they don’t…nah

Greenland is not something Denmark can sell at all. It’s an autonomous country within Denmark. I would say it’s like us selling Texas to Mexico, but Greenland has even more autonomy than Texas does. It’s more like asking if England can sell us Scotland.
