They’d just buy stupid shit to appease the reports that make it so they can raise rent My first apartment got bought out by a larger corporate entity than the og owners and they bought new washing machines and dryers for every unit with hookups promising their efficiency would lower power and water bills They doubled rent when it was time to renew the lease.
