Nah this ain’t it. The gerrymandering is justified right now because republicans started doing it so the playing field needs to be leveled. However it would not be justifiable if republicans hadn’t started it

Is it crazy to say that gerrymandering for the left is actually more democratic than allowing the right to win even if the right doesn’t? Like I feel like the right will just end democracy anyway so gerrymandering in this case is the moral option anyway

This is where I’m at with this too. I’d be 100% against this if republicans didn’t start it. Clearly they weren’t expecting democrats to bite back because of their “we go high when they go low” reputation, so it was just another slimy way of getting what they want in their eyes. If they didn’t want this, they coulda passed the anti gerrymandering bill

I’m against gerrymandering but part of me is satisfied that dems are retaliating this time instead of pouting and letting republicans get what they want yet again
