I think it's most constructive to remember that half the country voted for him (of those who do vote) and think about why did his message resonate with them and how can we offer something better. It's easy to stereotype people and Clinton was right that half of his supporters are just deplorable but the other half wanted change, wanted to change business as usual in Washington, all that. A lot of it was bullshit white insecurity i'm not even gonna lie but you can't write off 77 million people

My facts are completely right. Look up the election results. I was careful to note that it was roughly half of those who voted as every presidential election is. He wouldn't be president otherwise. He even outright won the popular vote in 2024 which is not always the case with republicans.

I think it is correct to say half the country voted for him. We're talking about votes. Obviously I'm not saying that 100% of eligible voters voted. I threw in the part in parentheses to address this and say of those who vote. There is no need to split hairs over this. It is well known that the country is politically divided.
