Amazing comeback, love this argument so much. “Hur durr, I don’t agree with you so I’m just going to call is subjective hurrr durrr.” Genuinely disgusting human being. Seek help and serious education.

nothing matters because i cant appeal to a higher authority which is subjective in its own right because theres no confirmation of which is correct - so nonsecular morals are also subjective

You know morality is subjective right? Like it’s opinions that vary based on place, person, time and cultural preferences. Some common overlapping patterns but there is no “correct morality”.

You are correct. The concept of a right is a pretty new concept compared with all of human history. I wouldn’t appeal to them to make a moral argument. A right is whatever we think we should have the freedom to do. Problem is people disagree on what we should be allowed to do. No right is absolute either. I personally like natural right ideas but it’s just my preference

Yes all morals are subjective. No one is more right than anyone else. Deal with it

i didnt contest what youre saying, i contested the fact that #4 made a point to say "in a secular environment" and thus making the claim in a nonsecular environment that morals arent subjective -- which they still are, in a slightly roundabout way.

i will contest what you say a right is, and what its meant to do. people say the ability to own guns is a right, others say healthcare or food and shelter -- all with the idea of setting a minimum, agreeing upon some essential foundation for the maximum welfare and output and security of a person and thus a society as a whole.

you speak of a hypothetical yet told us of an objective reality with objective morality while talking down upon the subjective morals that have been agreed upon throughout the world with the understanding of what morals are supposed to do and why we have rights to do certain things
