OP you are in the right on this one, Yak is mainly heavy left center, these people don’t belong in France unless they have assimilated with French culture

there’s literally thousands of people who are not white that are French in nationality or in language. plus, it’s crazy you’re posting this specific photo of teenagers too.

If I go to china and have a bunch of white kids there with my white wife and speak English am I Chinese?

your nationality would be Chinese and your children’s nationality would also be Chinese. Your race or ethnicity would not change nor would it be relevant. French is not a racial category and it couldn’t really constitute an ethnicity due to its widespread colonialism across the globe.

Yeah it is a global identity in nationality or language, but difficult to call it a distinct ethnicity because of its widespread geographical and cultural diversity. Think of comparisons across Senegal 🇸🇳 vs. French Guiana 🇬🇫 vs. France 🇫🇷 vs. Haiti 🇭🇹

Why would French people be foreigners

Legally yes but legality changes. Their ancestors didn’t create France they didn’t die for France and these future generations seem to be only capable of destroying France.

If it’s your first language or you’ve been bilingual since childhood, if it were me I’d identify as French via the language. A lot of Canadians self-identify with the French language too. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s like you and I are speaking English but I’m American from America, not English from England.

the plantation systems of french colonies provided an insane amount of wealth to france. so id say the enslaved/colonized peoples absolutely 100% help create france as we know it today and 100% did die for france’s benefit
