Reading anything about Trump makes me feel like Hildred Castaigne reading The King in Yellow from The Repairer of Reputations. It just drives me utterly fucking insane and leaves me baffled every time.

It’s only one, The Repairer of Reputations is a short story in a collection of them written by Robert W Chambers, the collection being called The King in Yellow (named after a recurring fictional play of the same name that drives the reader mad). He’s cosmic horror and is so influential that even notable racist and ‘father’ of cosmic horror H.P. Lovecraft greatly admired the works and drew influence from Chambers

(And yes Lovecraft was racist. Even in context of his time, he was seen as more racist than most.)
