Antibiotic resistance is like the climate change crisis or AI crisis that nobody thinks about

its inherently linked to the climate catastrophe. the collapse of biodiversity and destruction of habitat increases human-animal interactions introducing more zoonotic diseases. not to mention, though not as relevant, malaria’s range will expand as mosquito ranges do with a heating planet. on the bright side if antibiotic resistant bacteria do evolve: it will likely mean the complete collapse of the meat industry

Every so often I remember we'll end being able to fight diseases and the scare around RNA vaccines is slowing down their adoption. We're cooked.

Allergy medicine does not work on me, I’ve tried all of them from the recommended dose to taking like 6 of them. I am immune

not to mention animal agriculture also contributes a lot of antibiotic “pollution” into the environment which further propagates resistance
