Which wasn’t even that amazing. The disconnect between the U.S. and the crown was already pretty clear at the time, and the English empire was in the process of collapsing anyway.

Well 1, they’re harassing native Americans here, so sure, probably. And 2, Trump doesn’t have the support of the military. He’s not a real dictator despite his best efforts. The only organization that unquestionably listens to him are the 20,000ish people in ICE.
