Technically that would make it an SBR and thus he’d need permission from the ATF He should at least have a pistol brace though

Actually it’s about the state and local gun laws and if they don’t have a permit to open carry, this is a felony. I personally think anyone should be able to open carry like in Arizona but Minnesota is technically the bluest state in the country so they’ve put in shitty gun laws like that.

MN’s carry laws only applies to handguns, so this is the most legally defensible configuration, assuming the carrier has a permit
