They can. They very much so literally can. If a person is trying to rape you, you have the legal right to protect yourself, even with lethal force. Hence why I hate those stupid self protection keychain ads. You know what does all of that and more? A gun. That you learned how to use. And carry with you. As is your right to do so. Get a gun people
