so do cat grandmas and karen’s. they take value from their lives because they are mimicking an animal, and humanizing it. animals have a completely different role in our lives and we don’t need humans to ruin it

exactly my point. if a dog were to get into human sports (outside of airbud) people would be furious either because 1 unfair to the people, or 2 unfair/unsafe for the animal. each animal has its own purpose

yeah that’s getting into dangerous territory 😭 but genuinely with all “controversial” things there is always some reasoning behind it. trans people feel like the opposite sex and feel trapped in their body. people dislike abortion and are conservative because of “religious reasons”. what could make you WANT to be a furry? even if you feel stuck in your body tho why is that the way you’re going about it? btw coming someone who has a furry sister who can’t even answer that

Furry is more like a persona. Ive seen it used as a cover for being online, or a thing with traits that theyd want their ideal self to be.

if u find yourself cute with cat ears on your head, you’re not thinking about you, you’re thinking about the animal feature. if u find cat ears on people cute, u sound like u are attracted to cats ears. its still fantasizing about the ears or tail of another animal on a human, i just cant get behind it

see my sister told me that too, however we literally share most traits with animals. our brains are built the same, just a lot more complex and cognitive. you can train like one but i don’t think you should be aloud to be one

Same thats fair tbh. I mean allowed to be like. I feel like thatd apply more to therians and otherkin who moreso identify with animals compared to furries who just wear a silly anthropormophisized (humanlike features) costume on the occasion
