How about no draft for anyone, that would be far better
As a feminist I think it’s totally unfair to have men be the only ones draft eligible. Remember ladies, equality comes with responsibility and feminism is not wanting more, it’s wanting equality

How we gonna raise a bigger military in the event of an emergency otherwise? Civilians being called up to protect their country in a time of need is not new

Constitutionally difficult since the constitution sort of implies that congress have the means to call up people for drafting. Also logistically pointless since the government/national medical records have your age, sex, and information about if you’re disabled or not anyway - just in 2/3 separate files.

If it’s such a big emergency that a draft is necessary, then the public would undoubtedly support the war effort and sign up voluntarily.

Lmao no, especially after we’ve been fed up with the Epstein class’ war these past few years if you voluntarily sign up for the military to go boots on the ground in the Middle East you’re probably not a good person

There are very good reasons for regime change in Iran btw. Slavery, FGM, child marriage and honor killings of women exist and have been documented in Iran or certain Iranian provinces.
