What do you think DEI / Affirmative action is? Its a systematic advantage given to people of color to compete with others. In Ivy Leagues, that looks like an Asian w/ 1550 SAT getting rejected in favor of a Black person w/ 1350, based on a score given to the application. In medicine, it looks like lower MCAT and med school standards, again, specifically based on the color of your skin. Just because the color of your skin is different does not mean you should have different standards to qualify.
Nah I don’t play victim. It’s just extremely well documented and you guys act like conservatives have no point. And the point is not “ohhhh i’m scared of a black doctor” because Ben Carson is a fucking legend and living proof that black people dont need the lower standards to gain systematic advantages - in college, medicine, or aviation.
Yeah DEI and affirmative action are largely the same thing. That doesnt explain why you think the standards should be different specifically based on the color of your skin. National average in SAT score is highly irrelevant to college acceptance. Do Harvard and JMU have the same SAT requirements? No because the difficulty in curricula is entirely different, thus requiring higher SAT scores at Harvard. Unless of course, you have a specific skin color
