I voted for Kamala. But immigration enforcement is necessary. I imagine the family did something wrong along the way which is why they’re being sent back. It sucks, but we cannot be a refugee camp for the entire world. I truly wish we could be , and in my utopia anyone could come here

great. now let’s get fuckin specific here, #1. because it’s sooooo easy to boil down immigration issues like this to “refugee camp” and “immigration enforcement.” It’s harder, of course, to talk about it in specifics. What specifically is about to happen to this child. Under the age of ten. Who’s worst crime is playing tag in my class one day. Let’s get fucking specific.

Biden administration did the same thing. This isn’t new policy for DHS. If I were a poor family in the third world I’d absolutely try and get to USA illegally - that being said unfortunately we live in a world of competing self interests and as an American I have to put my interests over the rest of the world

A nine year old is about to lose their community. Their friends. Their neighbors. Every single thing they knew, because someone decided that he was illegal. They are going to be forcibly ripped from their home, with zero repayment of their lease contract OR termination, and dumped in a place where they have NOTHING. it doesn’t stop there. because now we need to talk about their education.

This child speaks english only. They will not be able to communicate. Not only will they lose their friends, they will NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE NEW ONES. And then they’re going to go to a school. Where they’re taught in a language they don’t know. And through absolutely no fault of the child’s own, their education - their learning - the thing that sets them up for success - is going to tank. this is a straight a student. and once they DO learn spanish - the mexican school system isn’t funded.

This child is going to have their life permanently ruined because of this. They will never recover. So! It’s easy to say “immigration enforcement is necessary.” Is it easy to damn a child? one who you see every day? Tell me. Because THIS is what “immigration enforcement” leads to.

silence is an answer here, too. use the time to reflect on how I called you a “psycopathic cunt.” does that make more sense now? now that we’ve gotten specific? cause that wasn’t an insult. based on what you admit you support - and the specifics of what it results in - it’s fact. sleep well tonight.

I still 100% support the deportation of the child, not because I want it to happen, but because it’s a necessary part of law and order. I recognize if I was the kid and his family, I would justifiably be horrified and angry at the USA. It is tragic, truly. But, in the same way hospitals sometimes have to deny organ transplants to people , we simply cannot afford to be a refugee camp for the world

There are millions who must be deported , unfortunately . Most of them are great, family loving people who have done nothing wrong , and who deserve a great life just like everyone else. And we can’t take them. It sucks but it’s how the world works.

For the record I think Trump’s approach to immigration enforcement is horrible. He wants to target states that he dislikes the leaders of, and he honestly just hates illegal immigrants . I don’t hate them, and I recognize their legitimate interests in staying here, but I also believe America’s interests are superior to anyone else’s

“we simply cannot afford-“ oh bullshit. illegal immigrants pay taxes and DON’T receive benefits in return they are the most affordable population we have

if you want to talk about a truly expensive population, free everyone in jail for weed posession. immigration enforcement is MORE EXPENSIVE than just letting them be.

#1 you should be aware that you share a nearly identical mindset to Nazi sympathizers and many of other enablers of atrocities throughout history, and this is the reason why most people you meet are not going to like or trust you

If deporting a child is a necessary part of law and order that law and order should not exist. Also, you seem to think aligning your morals 1:1 with the law is anything close to morally good.

Nah, we just grant them mass amnesty and close our doors, that’s it, the executive has much power and discretion to make that happen and that’s within the law. Quit the moralistic “but they illegal” nonsense and focus on what’s practical.
