Nazis probably would’ve hated MAGA which is the funny part

I’ve always wondered why these people cling to the idea of Nazis and fascism when the confederacy and “Southern pride” still exists. With their demographic overlap and how they preach about patriotism and racial ideology, you’d think that they would pick an American historical party to identify with instead. I think it’s the lack of libertarianism; they’d rather lick the boot of the rich and powerful these days. Both historical groups are awful obviously, but that’s always confused me.
