well yeah if she is literally harassing her she is going to have a negative reaction. she was probably extremely uncomfortable and weirded out, validly so. going up to someone you don’t even know and recording them knowing you have accused them of being anti-Jewish for being anti-Israel (which is a false, dangerous conflation), is very entitled and rude behavior.

as someone who is part palestinian myself i have had many experiences with israelis on my campus where they were filming me without consent, coming up to me and asking offensive or insulting questions under the guise of “just wanting to learn”, and have just treated me with absolute disrespect and contempt simply for existing.
