Also they hate trans and think it’s a mental issue yet don’t want to do anything for mental health… they are always asking for “research based facts” but have cut research funding.. it’s like ik ur a shit person but at least stand ur ground for what u “believe”

Liberals love to talk about believing the science until they realize that statistics is an incredibly vague and manipulable field, and even when it does show clear patterns they can only be applied narrowly

Statistics isn’t the only field of research lmao. Psychology, sociology, and a number of other different fields show time and time again that gender affirming care is a net positive. Also you’re discrediting conservatives #1 argument against trans people by discrediting statistical analysis because they like to complain that trans people are statistically more likely to be sexual offenders (which is also just not true)

I'll tell you how I WOULD test a hypothesis via statistical application, in a controlled setting with very narrow takeaway parameters. The real world has neither a controlled setting nor narrow takeaway parameters

I'm not saying that a study or stat is meaningless without every factor controlled, what I am saying is that these studies largely apply in very narrow terms.
